Hello, Markus! Thanks for fixing the game and site/forum servers!
How are you? Any news about new versions of our lovely game?
Hi, Markus! How are you?
Any news? Any plans on blub?
Any chance it will be included there someday? Would be great if it helps our lovely game to get popular again
And it's a pity
I would be very glad if you can build working deb-packages!
By the way, any news about further development? Is there any chance?
Suggestions and ideas for new version are welcome?
Oh, wow! Markus is here again! Hi! I'm glad you are alive!
Opensourcing and adding to Steam would be fine!
Maybe version for smartphones is possible too? I think this also can bring new life to the game.
First of all, sorry for English in the German Corner
I guess that guests mentioned a different problem. If player joins team A, he plays on the left side of the field, team B - right side. And it can't be changed as in the previous version, when there was possibility to choose preferred side for online games (left or right - doesn't matter the team you joined). In the actual version there is no such option and that's the problem.
For me personally it's also a big problem. I hate playing on the right side, but there is no choice if my opponent is already in team A.
I think this is necessary function to implement in the next release!
Hello, Markus!
Don't know why, but I can't install latest version of blubVolley on linux.
I tried to launch AppImage files several times on Lubuntu 18.04.4 (32 bit) and Xubuntu 20.04 (64 bit). But nothing happens.
Maybe there are some dependencies I need to install first?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you Markus for still working server! And for developing our lovely game, of course! I hope it will be continued someday and the game will get new players
We're still waiting
Hello Markus! How are you? Are there any good news about our lovely game or the project is closed forever?
Nice, thanks!
Same problem, server is down
Hi Markus! How are you?
Any news about the game? I'm still interested in remaking russian translation - is it possible in actual version? How?
So, first time played online against another human. Not bad for a first beta, not bad! But one main feature i missed: change of network side. I joined someone's game automatically to team B and played at right side, that's quite uncomfortable for me, because i always play on left side in both Blobby and Blub. So my first feature request: i need the possibility to choose network side in settings
A new homepage doesn't contain anything about blubSpace. Does it mean that the development of this game is discontinued?
Great! Thx
One year passed since this thread was started... Any good news for alive blub-fans?
Hello Lany!
I understand you. I mean the same you told. If the game is in free repositories (like BV2) - i can download it without Ubuntu One account. In Software Center, in Synaptic, command line or any other way.
While blub was not open source, it couldn't be downloaded such easily as Blobby. It is in other repositories, which is available only with Ubuntu One account. And i agree that it's not very good. Personally, I don't have that Software Center. And that's a pity there is no other easy way to install the game (except installing deb-packages and dependencies manually).
I agree that it should be able to install the game without any accounts, as Blobby Volley 2.
I agree with Lany! The game needs to be in official repositories, not only in Ubuntu Software Center (or how is it called now) - there are much other linux distributions too
