I guess you missed something in the list of dependencies. I have several bugs without one package, for example not possible to save changes in options, no bots in singleplayer, sometimes player can't move. After i downloaded old deb-package from this site and tried to install it, there was error message that "libboost-thread1.40.0" is needed. I installed it and now have no such bugs!

I have too the self problem.
Can you not add Blub in the Software Center without $?
I thenk, this would the easiest for all participate -
it is in there and it is free

Yes, but with a Ubuntu One Account, not without a Account. As such example Blobby Volly 2.
-
I agree with Lany! The game needs to be in official repositories, not only in Ubuntu Software Center (or how is it called now) - there are much other linux distributions too
-
Hallo GK
i'm not sure, whether do you me correctly understand.
I my Blub Donwload without a Register/Account by Ubuntu One.
See in the Software Center and such for Blobby Volly 2...With a Price, you need a Account/Register at Ubuntu One, see Blub Volley
Without a Price, you not need a Account/Register Ubuntu One, see Blobby Volley 2.Also, see the question of jauris.

Hello Lany!
I understand you. I mean the same you told. If the game is in free repositories (like BV2) - i can download it without Ubuntu One account. In Software Center, in Synaptic, command line or any other way.
While blub was not open source, it couldn't be downloaded such easily as Blobby. It is in other repositories, which is available only with Ubuntu One account. And i agree that it's not very good. Personally, I don't have that Software Center. And that's a pity there is no other easy way to install the game (except installing deb-packages and dependencies manually).
I agree that it should be able to install the game without any accounts, as Blobby Volley 2. -
Yes, that's what I mean.
But a OpenSource and a Closed Source Game is not the same...
If that the reason is, can i is understand. Why this not say the Deveolper?!Thanks for your Clarification
